Born 1963 into a family of sculptors but unhappy at school he escapes into a fantasy dreamworld and begins to express himself creatively.

He meets the real world working on a library-mission ship sailing between Europe, Africa and Asia. Living closely with people from different cultures and religions broadens his mind.
His drive to connect and communicate around the world
leads him to discover a new way of expression.
On returning to Switzerland he trained for seven years under Ernst G. Boetger, a well known German mime and Artistic Director, and thus makes the art of pantomime his future.
In the year 2000 he and his wife Sue, a dancer form their own Company Mark & Bein and they have been in this creative business ever since.
